Bhelpuri is made from puffed rice and sev (a fried snack shaped like thin noodles made from besan flour) mixed with potatoes, onions, chat masala and chutney and a mixture of other fried snacks as the base of the snack.
This dish is a two-part preparation: ragda (gravy) and pattice (patties). Ragda is a light stew of rehydrated dried white peas cooked with a variety of spices. Pattice are simple mashed potato cakes.
Samosa Chaat is a vegetarian dish consisting of smashed samosas served over a bed of Chole (chickpea curry). It’s then topped with layers of yogurt, cilantro-mint chutney, tamarind-chutney, pomegranates, sev (a fried snack shaped like thin noodles made from besan flour), and cilantro.
A thin crisp pancake of Indian origin, typically made from rice flour, stuffed with vegetables, or other ingredients, and served with chutney.
Gulab jamun is an Indian dessert of fried dough balls that are soaked in a sweet, sticky sugar syrup.
